2011 In Review - In Which This Author Attempts to Gloat Over His Accomplishments (and Cackles Insanely to Himself in His Deranged Mind)

Well, it's a start anyway.  Not bad for my first year taking my writing career seriously.  I started this blog.  I have a web presence (things come up if you Google my name).  And I've had a few things published.  Here are some of those things (Happy Face!):

"Little Children" - Accepted - (publication out in October 2012, or something)

All activity in the room ceased; the clack-clacking of the keyboard fell silent instantly.  Tiny liquid faces turned to look at him.  One of them waved a stub at the other four or five huddled around the computer and wobbled over to him on tiny gray limbs like half-cooked noodles.  The pain-filled eyes that looked up at him from the floor were misplaced on a head squished to one side; beady specks like gashes filled in with petroleum jelly.

This is a calendar with each day featuring a different flash fiction story with a macabre bent.  I have three different stories spread throughout this one.

Next year I plan to submit my first novel to publishers.  I intend to have more stories published and perhaps sell my first story to a professional market.  And I will write.  Keep writing.  Continue to write...
